Affiliate Disclaimer

Last updated: August 2026

Some links on Dadvisory are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I earn a small
commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is exactly the same.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

I’m a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme
designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to
Amazon.co.uk. I may also link to other UK retailers including Argos and John Lewis.

What this does and doesn’t change

It doesn’t change what I recommend. I write about baby monitors and nursery gear because I’ve
used them, researched them, or both — and if something is bad, I say so. A product doesn’t get
a better write-up because it pays more. Several of the honest verdicts on this site cost me
commission, and that’s the deal.

It doesn’t change the price you pay. Commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your
pocket.

It does keep the site running. Hosting, tools and the hours that go into testing and writing
are paid for this way rather than by charging readers or filling pages with ads.

Where you’ll see it

Every article containing affiliate links carries a disclosure at the top, before you reach any
recommendation. Nothing is hidden further down the page.

The limits

Once you click through to a retailer, you’re on their website under their terms, their returns
policy and their privacy policy — not mine. Check prices, specifications, stock and safety
information with the retailer before buying, as these change without notice. I can’t resolve
disputes about orders, delivery or refunds; that’s between you and the seller.

Always follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions when using any product with your child.
That guidance takes precedence over anything written here.
